Piano Man
So tonight even tho we were sick Tom and I continued the new weekly tradition of Wednesday karaoke at Shandygaff's. I started the night by breaking out the classic "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" which i said i'd never sing publicly again. It went okay with my sick voice i was able to hit the falsetto high notes, but the prompter was off so i needed to remember the words by heart. I felt i had let myself down as Tom sung "Band on the Run" and so i decided to go back to my soul karaoke roots and sing "Play that Funky Music" or as you might better know it "Play that Funky Music White Boy." I was very pleased with it and Tom sang Meatloaf. Finally i decided to end with rap and sang "1 2 3 4 Sumpin' New" by Coolio to mixed reviews. Lucklily Tom decided he needed a partner for "Piano Man" and we brought down the house with probably the best bar song ever. After that we bid a fond adieu to our fellow patrons and i rushed to catch the last bus.
Moral of the Story: Karaoke is the most fun you can have at a bar and if you are over 21 you should be out there with us.
Made it back in less than a year
So after a whirlwind almost year that saw some of the best and worst times in the life of our CEO we are back and running with a recap...
King's College- Good School but lacking a reliable group of friends
Brodheadsville- More fun than I ever thought it could be if you are hanging with the right people
West End Fire Hall- We meet there... end of story
UPark- It's all true everything you've heard
Kia Rio- Still the car of my dreams even if it breaks every 16k miles
Savior- The best song off of Rise Against's newest album maybe best RA song ever
My Roommates- They suck maybe not the one but only cause I never see him
The Pointe- Far superior to Nittany Crossings and i hope to live there with awesome people next year
In the end we are looking forward to a bright future once again, and worse case scenario there is always karaoke on Wednesday
